Ruth's last visit

Today was Ruth's (my midwife) last visit. She said that I am doing great and that I am a very active and alert baby girl! I'm putting on weight all the time and now weigh 4.48kg.

First smile

We are writing this down as my first smile because I smiled at Mum. I've been secretly smiling at Nana all week but this one is the official one :) It kind of looked like this......

Midwife visit

My midwife, Ruth, has been visiting me since I got home from the hospital. Today she said that I am a lovely baby girl and that I don't sleep much during the day but sleep good at night. I'm 4.3kg now too.

Uncle Ryan & Aunty Billie come to stay

Just as Nana & Grandad head back down to the farm, Uncle Ryan & Aunty Billie come up to stay with us. They bring me loads of presents from them and from Uncle KJ, Mike & Kate, Sarah & Tony. Mum says I'm spoilt already and it's not even her fault! I manage to get lots of cuddles from Uncle Ryan and Aunty Billie over the weekend :)

Mum and I have a snooze

Mum and I both have a snooze on the couch. Being a baby sure is hard work!

Nana & Grandad back again

Nana and Grandad came back up to see me again this week. We went on heaps of walks and really tired me out!

Funny Faces

I am starting to pull some pretty funny faces which is making everyone laugh at me!

Lovin' my bath

I'm two weeks old and loving my baths more and more. I am 4.12kg here :)

Uncle Kieran & Aunty Charlie visit

Uncle Kieran & Aunty Charlie came to visit me, and stayed the night with us. They have been on holiday from university, in the Marlborough Sounds.

Cousins Scott & Cherie visit

My 2nd cousins Scott & Cherie came to visit today. Cherie is having a baby boy in September so it was good practise for her to hold me! He will be a great friend for me to play with at family get together's.

Nana & Grandad

Nana & Grandad stayed for a few more days with me until they had to get back to the farm.

Grandad arrives

On Tuesday, Grandad flew up to see me. He had already been up the week before but because I was so late, he had to go back down to make sure everything was ok on the farm. I promptly fell asleep on him too!

First bath

Then later that day I had my first bath, which I loved. Dad had to hold on tight to me so I didn't wriggle away.

My first ride in my buggy

3 days old and I'm having my first outing in my buggy. Mum and Nana pushed me around the block.
