Trip to Wellington

Yesterday, Mum, Dad & I flew up to Wellington for the day. My Uncle KJ was playing for Canterbury U19 against the Wellington team who they bet and won a big shiny cup :) We also got to see Nana, Grandad and Aunties Cush & Jac.
We came back home on the ferry, driving a nice new vehicle that Mum & Dad had bought. I slept most of the way home but as soon as we got home and Mum got me out of the car, I threw up all over her. Mum ended up kicking Dad out to the spare bed so I could snuggle with Mum in their bed because I was upset and needed cuddles all night.
Today I'm feeling a little bit better but not quite 100% yet.

Getting warmer

Now that it's getting warmer, Mum is letting me play lots in the nudy rudy :) It's so much fun because I can roll over and scoot around on my tummy easier. Mum said that it won't be long until I'm crawling properly and that she'll have to baby-proof the house. We are going to watch Dad play rugby this afternoon, I hope he wins!

This is me going to sleep

I'm not very good at sleeping during the day now. I think I'm a big girl and should be allowed to stay up all day but Mum thinks otherwise. So when she puts me to bed I try everything to get back up again. You can see my latest trick in the pictures. Mum said she'll have to tie me down if I keep doing it :(

Two weeks down on the farm

Mum and I went down and stayed with Nana and Grandad on the farm for two weeks. I had such a good time down there. We did things like checking the cows, getting cows & calves in, bringing the cows in at milking time and taking them back to their paddock, feeding the calves, bringing cows in to the shed that needed help to calve & driving the motorbike. I didn't sleep very much during the day down there because I wanted to be up and helping. When Mum put me to bed for a snooze, I would yell and cry until she came and got me, then I would smile and laugh at her. One day, after refusing to go to sleep, I fell asleep in the backpack on Nana's back while she was walking some cows in to the shed!

We got to see Great Nan & Grandad, Uncle Dave, Aunty Tegan & Lily a few times too.

I was so busy down there, Mum is worried she won't know what to do with me back home!
