My friend Dayna
My friend Dayna came up to visit me for a few days. He had to stay longer because the winds were so strong he couldn't drive back home to Invercargill. He helped catch heaps of whitebait while he was here too.

Bye Bye Nelson
This week we packed up all of our stuff and put it on a big truck. It is going up to the North Island but we are going to stay with Nana and Grandad down on the farm for awhile. On Monday I went and said goodbye to all my friends in our coffee group. I will miss them lots.
Nana and Grandad arrived up on Monday night, thankfully to help Mum and Dad with all the packing and cleaning up of our house. It was just as well they came up because Dad broke his hand on Saturday in his last game of rugby for the season.
On Wednesday the big truck arrived, but 3 hours after it was supposed to and Mum was getting annoyed. It was also one of the wettest days we'd had in Nelson, so everyone got a bit wet loading the truck.
Once that was all done, Nana, Mum and I got in our truck and drove down to Hanmer while Grandad and Dad brought our car. We stayed in Hanmer that night which was lovely.
On Thursday we caught up with our friends Sarah, Emma and Harry. Harry was only a few weeks old when we met him. And then it was the long trip back down to the farm. I was getting really tired and grumpy by that stage and let Mum and Dad know! I yelled & screamed for the last hour and a half, despite stopping several times and getting cuddles from Mum and Dad. I had just had enough!
But now I'm great and loving being back on the farm, helping like a real cow girl.
