Off to Chch

This weekend we went down to Chch to see Uncle's Ryan & Kieran play rugby. It was freezing cold so I had to stay in my buggy with the storm cover all zipped up which I wasn't too happy about. They won their game so they were pleased. I slept in my new portacot which I liked because on Saturday night I slept for 13 hours! Mum thought that was pretty cool. On the way back home we called in and saw Uncle Ian, Aunty Chris, Scott, Cherie, Mel & Adam.

Nana & Grandad return

Nana and Grandad have been up again this week. We went for a few walks and I got some new clothes and new toys to play with. I had lots of fun and Nana and Grandad even took me for a horsey ride :)

Sand between my toes

Mum and Dad took me to the beach today and let me play in the sand with my feet. It felt so nice! We didn't stay too long because even though it was sunny, it wasn't that warm.

Meeting lots of my family

This was the first time meeting my aunties Bel, Bins, Cush and Jac, my uncle Rog and my cousins Ella and Libby. I got to have a bath with my big cousins which was great fun.
My Granny held me because I'm still too little to sit up by myself.

Out on the farm

Luckily the bad weather cleared up a bit and I was able to go out and help Dad on the farm. I liked watching the sheep and dogs. Their barking didn't worry me one bit! I definitely think I'm a farm girl.

Interislander Ferry trip

Today Mum, Dad and I crossed over to the North Island on the ferry. It was a bit rough, with 4m swells and was late leaving because of the cancelled crossings a few days ago. Dad got a bit sick but Mum and I were fine. It took us about 12 hours to get up to the Hawkes Bay where my Pa & Granny live but I only slept a bit over an hour during the whole trip.

Watching TV

I like watching TV. Mum tells me that it's bad for me but I watch it anyway. Mum tries to lie me down so I can't see the TV but I move around so I can see it, haha.
